Hello, I’m Erica!
I became an Independent Travel Agent in April 2022 and my aim was to make travel savings for my family.

Did you know that every holiday booking you make, whether you book online or direct with a hotel, up to 15% commission is built into the price! By joining the travel programme and becoming an Independent Travel Agent, not only can you earn back that commission on your own travel, you can also earn by booking holidays for your friends and family too!
When you join the Travel Program, you will have access to over 100 suppliers that you can book with. You will also be given access to travel agent booking sites & portals that offer "wholesale" prices. You can purchase these for yourself or commission is added on, for you to then sell to your clients. You can also directly contact any hotel in the world & work with them using your IATA license.
You can earn commission on ANYTHING travel related. This includes.. hotels, apartments, villas, cruises, transfers, excursions, activities, tours, ferries, boat trips, sporting events, concerts, airport parking, car hire... the list is endless.
You don't need any travel experience, just a desire to travel and learn. You will receive mentoring from me and also receive fantastic training from the rest of the team including access to facebook groups and whats app support chats.
Frequently Asked Questions about being an Independent Travel Agent
Why did you become a travel agent?
We as a family want to travel more and now my girls are heading into teenage years the cost of holidays are becoming more expensive. Once my friend explained how I could save and earn commissions on holidays that I was already booking, plus save money for friends and family and earn commission on their holidays, I knew I had to sign up. I’m now travelling to places I wouldn’t of imagined going to before.
Are you a legit company?
Absolutely! Our Travel Host company is 30 years old and is a proud member of ABTA and ATOL! If we weren't legitimate then companies like Royal Caribbean, James Villas and Mr & Mrs Smith wouldn't have partnered up with us!
Do you need any travel experience?
No! I had no experience when I joined, other than the travel I had done. The travel host provides excellent training to start with, which you'll need to gain your travel agent license. However, the training and support is ongoing with weekly webinars & in person events. You'll be added into lots of whats app groups where I can support you as well as gain lots of help and support from other agents in the team.
Can you only book certain types of holidays?
Not at all. When you get your travel agent licence, you receive an IATA number which allows you to contact any hotel in the world to book and earn commissions and discounts.
What are the sign up fees?
There's a one off payment of £142 which is for your IATA licence. This number gives you global recognition as a travel agent. You then pay £32 a month which covers your Admin, Support, Insurance and Booking system! All ongoing training that you choose to take is totally free!
What if I join and change my mind?
If its not for you, you can cancel in the first 30 days and receive a full refund on the £142. If you want to cancel after the first 30 days, you can do so at any time and stop paying the £32 monthly fee.
How long does the training take?
The mandatory training that you need to complete at the beginning will take about 4-6 hours. There is also further training you can chose to do later on.
I work full time time, could I still do this?
Yes absolutely! There are no targets or quotas! You are your own boss and you put into this as little or as much as you like!
Do I have to book for others?
No you don’t at all although many do as it’s a great additional source of income, but the choice is always yours. It’s your franchise, your business and you use it how you wish to. You can book for friends and family, grow a business booking for others, or simply use it to benefit your own travel and save money.
Do I have to recruit other agents?
Absolutely not! There are two separate businesses that you can be part of. One business is for travel agents - to book travel for yourself or others. The second business is totally optional, but if you want to earn another income stream, there is the option to recommend the program similar to a refer a friend scheme.
It sounds too good to be true?
I thought exactly the same thing. Even though it was my friend telling me about it, I still said "and what's the catch". But there really isn't one. You book travel - you earn commissions. Simple!
